you just wanted to prove there was one safe place, just one safe place where you could love him

the week

good, uneventful and yet eventful. as usual. had good chats with various instructors that were insightful and also a meeting with our department chair about the japan tama art university exchange program that i am interested in.

friday

ah, yesterday. a laborious day of computers and materials. after, had curry dinner with A, K, D (k's bf), and a surprising appearance from J. after browsing a couple shops we went to le pain and gorged ourselves with pastries (omg), cafe au lait, and bread and played a seriously intense game of pictionary (which ended up being littered with too many x-rated references). after the game, R met us, and we all drove to the brewery for a IDSA (Industrial Designers Society of America) get together. the brewery is so awesome. a big collection of beautiful buildings overflowing with artists and art everywhere! we walked up narrow steep stairs to the fourth floor with a gorgeous view of the LA skyline and train tracks that all disappeared into the horizon. drank lots of cheap chuck wine and had a chat fest. i was tired.

valentines

k bought me a chocolate flower. he is so sweet. its a shame he likes men. i secretly enjoy valentines, even for a perpetually single female. a day of excessive chocolates and flowers is ok by me. 

today

i am off to the school library for research, and heading towards santa monica to visit a paper store for my stationary project. N invited me to a musical for valentines later in the evening.
