because i love you, my love. mercilessly, and crazed

545am
waking up to prepare for kayaking. its eerie and lovely out there in the morning when the dew is setting and and when the fog blows out whispers of low clouds

a thing i love
sounds of trains traveling in the dead middle of the night.

by night, love, tie your heart to mine, and the two
together in their sleep will defeat the darkness

(book: haptic)

tired and happy.
there's so much happening.

i think, the key
is to be inspired. it wins over sleep, stress, pressure, and any other insanely detrimental emotional issues

watching
presidential debates

reading through a present
zen in the art of writing by ray bradbury.

tomorrow
kayaking lessons. another happy thing.

day 1
back to school. back to school!

this term, we're designing paddles. oddly, i'm very excited. im highly considering the kayak paddle since i've always wanted to participate in this sport and it'll give me an excuse to go and do some "field research" in the ocean

feeling
happy, scared, impatient, and curious for whats to come

how far that little candle throws his beams

(auduban magazine)

its been a whole week
i feel guilty for having ignored my journaling duties.

but
life has been relaxing yet uneventful.

i've had lunches
with cindy and visited the new americana mall (which in fact, is an exact replica of the grove) and had dinner at green leaves vegan  in los feliz with julie where i had surprisingly good soy beef dish.

but mostly
i've been lounging around, being tickled with butterflies in my stomach from the impending first day of school on monday. so curiously excited.

and also bracing myself
for a heavy weekend with birthday's, and people coming into town.

some documentaries i've watched over break
dark days (fantastic)
surfwise (amazing)

ballet
i am obsessed and i think its so beautiful, this dance form.

formatting
perhaps thinking paragraph format would be better for my entries.

*edit*
i just finished watching stone reader. an old documentary film about a reader's quest to find the missing writer of "the stones of summer." oh- so grand this movie! its a beautiful tribute to readers and writers and it makes me silly with happiness.
