little by little, and also in great leaps

yesterday night
a devendra banhart and gilberto gil concert at the hollywood bowl with liz and linda. i've been so lackluster lately, but this show really really inspired me.

today
i went to work in the wood shop for a bit and it felt so good to be back in there.

something fantastic:

jasper johns
I never had any true affection tied with jasper johns and his art work, but today, we were discussing his "painted bronze," and i had a surge of emotion and felt such poetry and thoughtfulness in his intent.

also,
when you actively search for syncronism, they seem to appear everywhere and all the time

ted is so great! so far, i've seen Benjamin Zander, stefan sagmeister, and matthieu ricard. all so fantastic! i loved sagmeister because he was funny, and it directly relates to design, which i like! i'm going to check out jill taylor right now. i've been meaning to watch her lecture.
